Happy New Year!?!

OK I know I should have written this maybe a few days ago but honestly, I was enjoying my Christmas holiday time and yeah it’s a new year and back into another national lockdown YIPPIE! Don’t get me wrong I think many of us has said this should happen because of COVID going up but it should have happened right at the start of the year not 5 days later because Boris had to be told. No, I’m not a Tory supporter and I feel terribly let down by the government over how they have dealt with this pandemic and we also have Brexit to contend with but not much we can do about that it is what it is unfortunately.

There are a few things that I’m hoping to do this year. I want to get back into my photography again to some extent and hoping to set up a photoblog and maybe do other things as well but start with that. I got into photography some 20 years ago now after being seriously ill with depression and this was before digital really hit it big time. I tend to use my mobile phone these days but I never use the “pro” setting so I’m going to have a play with it and I also found some photos I thought I’d lost via Lightroom classic as well which I could look at and post. One of the things I’ve missed being able to go places and take photos of things. Hoping this year will be somewhat of a different year. My fingers are crossed on that one.

But photography has helped me get through some of the worst times of my life and will do again. Being creative has been a literal life saver for me but I don’t tend to use my skills that much so I’m going to give it ago. Maybe it’ll get me out of the house as well. I’ve totally turned into a sloth over the past year and need to get my stamina back up so I can one day get back to the gym this year!

I feel like a lot of this year will be a year of hope and fingers being crossed  but I honestly have so much I want to do and I’m getting bored.

Anyway my dear friends here is to the new year lets hope by this time next year we will not be still sitting in a homes and twiddling our thumbs wondering what the heck we should be doing without oursleves!

But till the next time!
